Elina has been teaching voice lessons for over 15 years. She has brought up a generation of talented vocalists while teaching a "Voice Technique Class" at the Jazz Faculty of The New School University in addition to conducting private lessons. Her teaching combines the rich tradition of the famous Italian vocal school Bel Canto with advanced Russian and USA pedagogy and practice techniques.

Anyone with a musical ear can learn to sing as long as they have the desire, self motivation and the right teacher. To master your vocal instrument we will learn to find a mental, physical and musical union. This will give you a possibility to find your individuality and to feel the freedom to create, said Elina.

The following is a brief description of basic elements of Elina’s teaching method:
1. Body relaxation

3. Function of the jaw, soft palate, uvula, larynx, tong

5. Vowels alignment

8. Interaction with students, working at microphone techniques, stage presentation, emotional control

By trying to incorporate all these aspects into my method I still focus on a special needs of each individual student. The advantage of my Vocal Seminar “technique” class is that it allows for student to be able to hear each other and be able to distinguish between pure and unnatural tones.
